The Radiotherapy group includes all the physicians and reserachers involved in Radiotherapy activities within the premises of the Diagnostic Imaging Department of the University Hospital "Federico II" of Naples, headed by Prof. Marco Salvatore.
Personnel includes members of the University Diagnostic Imaging Department, and of the Biostructure and Bioimaging Institute of the National Research Council.
Most activties are carried out in building 10 of the University Hospital (Policlinico) "Federico II".
The hospital campus is located in the upper part of Naples, close to other large hospitals including "Cardarelli" and "Monaldi".
Main entrance to the Hospital campus is located in Via S. Pansini 5 (open 24h), while other gates are in Via T. De Amicis (open 7:00h to 20:00h), Via Quagliariello (pedestrians only, open 7:00h to 16:00) and Via Santacroce ad Orsolone (open 7:00h to 16:00h)
Please note that access to the hospital campus by car is allowed only 14:00h to 20:00. In the morning only authorized persons can enter the campus by car.
A guarded parking lot and the Policlinico Metro station (Linea 1
) are located near the main entrance of the campus. In the campus a free shuttle service is available throughout the day.
